University of Michigan's Projectorhead presents filmmaker Barbara Hammer on Thursday

The Projectorhead Film Series, sponsored by the University of Michigan department of screen arts and culture, has a free event happening this week.

On Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m., visual artist Barbara Hammer will appear in 1528 C. C. Little Building, at 1109 Geddes. Over the course of her 30-year career, Barbara Hammer has created over 80 works that include experimental films, documentaries, shorts and feature films. The program will include screenings of Hammer's work; readings from her memoir, "Hammer! Making Movies Out of Sex and Life"; and a discussion with the filmmaker.
