Atria Books has announced the follow-up to author Rhonda Byrne's best-selling book "The Secret," according to the New York Times. "The Power," which promises to show readers how to attain everything they want, is scheduled to be released on Aug. 17.

'In the new book, her publisher said, “She shows how perfect health, incredible relationships, a career you love, a life filled with happiness, and the money you need to be, do, and have everything you want, all come from the power.” Her publisher added, “ ‘The Power’ is the handbook to the greatest power in the universe — the power to have everything you want.”'

"The Secret" was released in 2006 and spent three years on best-seller lists, thanks to a massive push from TV host Oprah Winfrey.
