A concert by the Chenille Sisters planned for The Ark this Friday has been canceled to due illness.

In a post on The Ark website, the group writes, "Dear friends, we are so sorry to let you know that we need to postpone our Ark show that is scheduled for Friday, Oct 12th. Grace came down with that horrible flu/cold thing that is going around and then it "morphed" into a viral infection and she has inflamed vocal folds. Needless to say, the Dr. has her on vocal rest. We are sure Grace will feel better soon as she is a strong Midwestern gal.

"We hope this doesn't inconvenience ticket holders terribly and hope you can join us when we reschedule."

According to The Ark, ticket purchases made through the Michigan Union Ticket Office by credit card have been automatically refunded. Anyone who bought tickets at Herb David Guitar Studio or The Ark’s box office or who paid with cash or check at MUTO should take their tickets to the point of purchase for a refund.
