Local theater fans will be able to get a backstage glimpse of Joseph Zettelmaier’s "Christmas Carol'd," now playing at Performance Network, on Sunday, December 20 at 4:15 p.m., following the 2 p.m. matinee performance.

The program will feature an in-depth discussion with the show’s director, David Wolber; playwright Joseph Zettelmaier; set and costume designer Monika Essen; and members of the cast. Learn about the “page to stage” process; hear the playwright’s accounts of adapting a famous tale; experience the critical moments in the production; and get an opportunity to ask questions.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $10, and are available by phone at 734-663-0681, or online at the Performance Network web site. (Attendees for this talk aren't required to have tickets for that day's 2 p.m. matinee.)
