Comedian Lisa Lampanelli returning to Michigan Theater; tickets on sale Friday
Lisa Lampanelli
Lampanelli's raunchy, irreverent comedy—she's self-described as an "equal-opportunity offender"—has won wide acclaim and lots of fans. She regularly appears on late-night TV talk shows, and she often guests on Howard Stern's satellite radio show. Her latest special, “Tough Love,” premiered on Comedy Central last year. Tickets, at $39.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
Lampanelli performed at the Michigan Theater in December 2009.

I saw her a few years ago here and thought it was pretty great. We spent some time with her and her fiancé after the show and she was very charming and good company quite the opposite of her stage persona. I will be seeing her again this year. I also heard she's in pretty good shape lost a bunch of weight etc. I am looking forward to another energetic performance.

Personally, I never cared for her brand of comedy. Plus, I found her to be rather loathe some when she appeared on "Celebrity Appentice."
