The Ypsilanti Crossroads Summer Festival, the popular series of live outdoor music and more, is currently accepting submissions from artists interested in performing at this year's event.

The series is known for presenting some of the best local performers on its stage, located on Washington Street north of Michigan Avenue in downtown Ypsilanti. In event of rain, the shows move inside to Club Divine on Washington Street.

Crossroads takes place on Friday evenings, June 4-Aug. 20, with a special all-day edition Saturday, Aug. 21 in conjunction with the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival.    The deadline to apply is Feb. 1. As detailed in an email from Music Director Frank L. Wright, applications should be made like so:

"Please send an audio CD and hard-copy bio sheet. (All materials sent will become the property of Crossroads. We are unable to return your CD's and press kits.) You may also email a link to your Electronic Press Kit to crossroadsbooking@gmail.com. Hard copy submissions are preferred.

Press kits and EPKs will be distributed among the members of the selection committee. The committee will review all applications and make selections before they are booked."

Mail applications to Ypsi Crossroads, P. O. Box 981410, Ypsilanti, MI 48198
