Often, some of the best reads arising from awards shows come a day later, after the dust of "who won" has settled a bit.

One of the more interesting story lines to come out of Sunday's Grammy Awards was Esperanza Spalding's surprise win for Best New Artist. One of the acts she beat out was Justin Bieber, leading some of his fans to attack Spalding's Wikipedia entry. Of course, the flip side is the delight felt by Spalding's fans, who include President Obama.

If all the hubbub has you curious — and I have to admit I was not previously familiar with her — check out Spalding's website, ABC's 10 facts about Esperanza Spalding, and The Atlantic's piece "Who is Esperanza Spalding?".

So, what do you think?
