The opening sequence placed hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway in some of the nominted movies.

The Academy Awards were handed out last night, and whether you watched the ceremony or not, we've got all the links you need to bring you up to speed:

And now, a few non-Oscar items to round things out this morning:

MOVIES

• In its third week of release, "Gnomeo and Juliet" was the No. 1 movie at the box office over the weekend, beating a disappointing performance from new opener "Hall Pass."

TELEVISION

• Well, rats. ABC had been scheduled to show a new episode of "Detroit 1-8-7" this week, but it's being bumped for a special "20/20" interview with Charlie Sheen. And guess what? In talk-show appearances this morning, Sheen said he wants a raise.

MUSIC

• The Oakland Press notes that the annual Metro Times Blowout music fest opens Wednesday.

Suze Rotolo, Bob Dylan's girlfriend and muse in his early New York years, has died at age 67.

Enough of Mr. Sheen (please!). Who won the movie tickets for predicting the winners of the Academy Awards? Did I miss this?

I do not condone Mr. Sheen's recent comments or rants at all, not even a tiny bit. However, the more I read, the more I believe Mr. Sheen has developed emotional or psychological problems. To continue to post his ravings is to exploit someone who is ill. Shame on "20/20" for airing an interview with him.
