Movie icon Jane Russell has died at age 89.

• The first track off Bob Seger's upcoming new album is streaming online — a cover of Tom Waits' "Downtown Train." There's still no word on southeast Michigan dates on his spring tour.
• The Detroit News reports that last week's White House tribute to Motown Records will be televised at 8 tonight on PBS.
• The highly anticipated video for Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" was released yesterday. (Note that some of the images might not be appropriate for kids.) Meanwhile, the hype is already starting for her next single, "Judas."
• Movement, the giant annual electronic music festival in Detroit, has announced its first acts.
• The Detroit Free Press reports that a scaled-down music festival is planned this summer for the site of the Rothbury festivals.
• Justin Bieber turns 17 today, and he's asking his fans to donate to charity.
• The NAACP is honoring Kid Rock for his advocacy for Detroit.
• Consequence of Sound reports on an intriguing new Deftones album of, and called, "Covers."
• NPR is planning weekly interviews with Jack White.
TELEVISION
• The new cast for "Dancing with the Stars" has been announced.
• The Charlie Sheen saga isn't getting any less weird. He said a bunch of ridiculous stuff on "Good Morning America" and thinks his life with two 24-year-old girlfriends is perfect. Meanwhile, there's a chance that John Stamos could replace him on "Two and a Half Men."
• The Detroit News reports on some shows that may not return next year, including, of course, "Detroit 1-8-7."
MOVIES
• Tim Burton is set to remake "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."
