Stooges head for the Hall; Corey Haim recalled; Twilight trailer; and more

The Detroit News previews Monday's induction of pioneering Ann Arbor band The Stooges into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, including some comments from leader Iggy Pop.

Meanwhile, Rolling Stone reports on details of the ceremony itself, with performers including Maroon 5 and Chris Isaak, and the fact that the Stooges will be inducted by Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day.

MOVIES

• There's all kinds of fallout from the death, reported yesterday, of actor Corey Haim. His friend and "the other Corey," Corey Feldman, has issued a memorial statement. PopEater.com makes the surprising claim that the former teen idol was having his busiest year yet. Haim's agent makes the even more surprising claim that the death wasn't a drug overdose. Zap2It has an item about the trailer for Haim's final movie. And finally, the Associated Press looks back at how sadly familiar Haim's story has become.

• USAToday reports that last year set a worlwide box-office record, thanks largely to 3D movies.

The "Wall Street" sequel, "Money Never Sleeps," has been delayed until fall.

• There's a new trailer out for part 2 of the "Twilight" saga, "Eclipse":

• EW.com's Popwatch files another on-scene report from "American Idol," including some interesting observations about the differences between seeing the performances in person and on a TV screen. And People.com's recap from last night is here, featuring the top eight guys.

• The New York Daily News reports on the rather puzzling choice to turn the "Mad Men" characters into Barbie dolls.

• Writing in The Detroit News, critic Lawrence B. Johnson raves about "Good," the new play at Wayne State University's Hilberry Theatre.

• Plastic-surgery queen and reality-show star Heidi Montag tries to make fun of herself on FunnyOrDie.

• A new "Battlestar Galactica" game is on the way.
