@ Skyjockey Since when do bigots deserve any respect? Keep in mind that Republicans are the ones preventing him from entering into a marriage. Republicans are the ones that would take away his child. Republicans are the one that tell him he is going to burn in hell, and the list goes on. If any group was attacking me like that, I'd be angry too. Besides, Dan apologized for what he said. Did Rush? Of course not. So get your facts straight and stop spreading misinformation and half-truths. http://slog.thestranger.com/slog/archives/2011/07/15/an-apology

This is a man who stated on Bill Maher's show, "I wish all Republicans were f-ing dead". Remember this when you speak of how hateful Republicans are. Rush Limbaugh uses a derogatory slur referring to a woman who demands that I pay for her contraception and the country goes bananas. This guy wishes death on half the country that doesn't share his political views and the silence is deafening.

"We can learn to ignore what the bible says about gay people the same way we have learned to ignore what the Bible says about clams and figs and farming and personal grooming and menstruation and masturbation and divorce and virginity and adultery and slavery. " - Dan Savage This is the sanitized version of one of the great lines of early 21st Century politics. Already have my tickets (pre-sale) and can't wait to see him live.
