Wristbands to be distributed for Darren Criss' free Sonic Lunch show in Ann Arbor
A wristband (or #crissbands on Twitter and Instagram) will be required to gain entrance to Criss’ show, and 1,000 of them will be given out before the day of the show - at surprise locations around Washtenaw County, announced via Sonic Lunch’s Facebook page, Sonic Lunch’s Twitter feed, and Sonic Lunch’s website and mailing list. Announcements may also be made on radio station Ann Arbor's 107one.
The remaining 800 wristbands will be made available to those who line up at the Michigan Theater on the day of the performance (Thursday, June 13) starting at 6 a.m. Due to state curfew laws, the earliest that people will be allowed to line up in front of the Michigan Theater on June 13 - for a wristband or admittance - is 6 a.m.
According to Sonic Lunch’s website, “You cannot hold a place in line for a friend or family member. All wrist bands will be placed on wrists of those who desire to attend and are present to receive a band. We will not give out wrist bands for those not present.”
The website also notes that “To be guaranteed entry with your wrist band, please be in line by 10:45am. Doors will open at 10:45 am. We cannot guarantee seating after 11:00 am.”
The Michigan Theater doors will open at 10:45 a.m., and Katzman will play his set at 11:30 a.m., followed by Criss and his band at noon.
