The concert is part of a Christmas-themed tour. Archuleta has just released a holiday album, "Christmas from the Heart," a collection of mostly tradtional music.

Archuleta, 18, was the runner-up on the 2008 edition of "American Idol," losing out to David Cook.

If I lived near your venue I would so buy a ticket... unfortunately I live in the northeast...but will be catching 4 holiday tour shows with David Archuleta in Dec. He is an amazing singer / songwriter...and his new holiday album Christmas from the Heart is wonderful! And David's concerts are so much fun.

Pam05, in my experience your camera will be confiscated if you're caught using it at Hill Auditorium, but we're checking with A2SO about this event.

I predict this concert will be out of this world! Those unfamiliar with David Archuleta have no idea what an exquisite, powerful, emotive voice he has (or how charming and endearing he his). And hearing him sing Christmas music that has so much meaning to him will be fabulous. One reviewer stated that David sang the songs on his Christmas album as they were love songs (they are of a sort) and that his 'Ave Maria' sounded as though you were listening in on a prayer. I'd give my eye teeth to be able to zip across the nation to sit in on this concert. Errrr. I'm flying to CA for a show, and unfortunately, this time around that will have to suffice. Drat!
