The first reviews of "The Five Year Engagement" - filmed mostly in Ann Arbor last year - are out, and the responses are mixed, with the positive ones having a slight edge.

The film opens nationally Friday. Here's a round-up of links to various reviews.

Positive reviews appear in the Huffington Post; The Chicago Tribune; The San Francisco Chronicle; Entertainment Weekly (in which Ann Arbor's native son Owen Gleiberman gives the film a B+); and The Arizona Republic.

Middle-of-the-road, "meh" reviews appear in The Seattle Times and The Florida Times-Union.

And negative reviews appear via the Associated Press; Huffington Post; and McClatchy-Tribune News Service.
