Mittenfest gets under way at Woodruff's

Mittenfest, the annual four-day celebration of Michigan music that benefits 826michigan, kicked off today at its new venue, Woodruff's in Ypsilanti. Photographer Lon Horwedel captured these images:

These pictures were taken near the first set of the day, at 3:45 pm or so. The venue hit capacity each night near 10 or 11pm.
