At several different locations around central Ann Arbor this afternoon, students from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business came together in "flash mobs"—surprise choreographed gatherings of individuals—for a good cause.

The students, dressed in white T-shirts, performed a chant and dance. Following their performance, they planned to speak to onlookers in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The foundation is a charity that describes its mission as granting "the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy."

For more on the foundation, see the Make-A-Wish Michigan website.

AT&T has Flash Mob on their television commercial. I thought it was a gag. Never heard of Flash Mob. Interesting. Thanks for enlightening me.
