October Taste of Chelsea Event to Benefit St. Louis Center. 6 p.m. St. Mary Catholic Church of Chelsea, 14200 E. Old US-12, Chelsea. This new event is a culinary extravaganza to showcase Chelsea's viable restaurant community, and the food will be complemented with musical entertainment for the whole family. 20 Chelsea area restaurants, cafés and caterers will be present to offer a taste of their favorite culinary delights. The event will benefit St. Louis Center, a residential community in Sylvan Township that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Tickets include food, soft drinks, wine and entertainment. $30 a person or $50 for a couple. Children 5-13 pay $10, and children 4 and under free. In case of inclement weather Golden Limousine International will be providing a trolley along the route of the Grub Crawl for everyone's convenience.
