Villa Calcinaia Wine Dinner with Count Niccolo Capponi. 6 p.m. Gratzi, 326 S. Main St., Ann Arbor. Enjoy an evening with our honored guest Count Niccolo Capponi as he presents Villa Calcinaia wines paired perfectly with a five-course dinner. Heartland Health BBQ Cook Off. 4:30-7 p.m. Heartland Health Care Center-Ann Arbor, 4701 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor. Heartland of Ann Arbor will host the first annual Heartland Cook Off between two local restaurants Satchels and Red Rock. Cook Off attendees will receive one voting ticket where they will cast their votes by presenting their voting ticket to their favorite booth. Pittsfield Township Farmers Market. 2-7 p.m. every Thursday June 13 through Oct. 10. Pittsfield Township Administration Building, 6201 W. Michigan Ave., Pittsfield Township. Pittsfield Township will begin hosting a Farmers Market at the Administration Building at the corner of Michigan and Platt. Pittsfield is fully supportive of a Michigan-based product Farmers Market with a focus on providing fresh produce and vegetables, meats, cheeses, eggs, hams, salsas, and bread products from local area farmers. Milan Senior Nutrition Program. 11:45 a.m. Milan Senior & Community Activity Center, 45 Neckel Court, Milan. In partnership with the Washtenaw County Senior Nutrition Program, they offer a nutritionally balanced meal three afternoons a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is a suggested donation of $2.50 for anyone who is 60 years or older and a fee of $5 for anyone under the age of 60. They do ask for 48 hour advanced reservations. Call or stop by the office.

Tuesday
Roll Your Own Nori. 6-7 p.m. Cranbrook Whole Foods, 990 W. Eisenhower Parkway, Ann Arbor, in the Lifestyle Center. Master the basic wrapping technique that is essential to making nori rolls. Nori rolls, also called nori maki, are named for the edible seaweed wrapper that is used with seasoned rice and fillings. There will also be a demonstration of easy-to-make miso soup. Cobblestone Farm Market Day 2013. 4-7 p.m. Cobblestone Farm Center, 2781 Packard St., Ann Arbor. Every Tuesday May 21 through Nov. 5, a farmers market sprouts up on the lawn of Historic Cobblestone Farm in Southeast Ann Arbor. Gelato Tasting. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Zingerman's Events on 4th, 415 N. Fifth Ave., Ann Arbor. Join us for an end-of-summer celebration of everyone’s favorite: gelato from Zingerman’s Creamery.
