Barbecue fans find plenty to like at Zingerman's Roadhouse

By Cindy Heflin

Zingerman's Roadhouse gets a favorable review in Mid-Michigan Dining.

The writer, apparently already a fan of Zingerman's Deli, couldn't get enough of the Roadhouse's barbecue sandwiches or the French fries that were served along with them:

"Our bill was right at $30 which still seems high to me for sandwiches, but Zingerman’s uses quality ingredients and it really comes through in the flavors. We both loved our sandwiches as much as we loved the sandwiches from the Deli. The fries were some of the best restaurant fries I’ve ever had and the service was great."

As a dabbler in the black art of smoking pork for 18+ hours over smoky hardwoods, I strongly endorse the slow cooked meats at the Roadhouse. With the vinegar-based sauces, the BBQ is pretty much what I need to get my pulled-pork kick.
