BestOf honors: Sidetrack Bar & Grill wins for best townie hangout; this week vote for best bakery

Best townie hangout voting began last Sunday and ended at 11:50 p.m. Saturday. Throughout the week this was a close competition between Ann Arbor’s Knight’s Steak House and Ypsilanti’s Sidetrack Bar & Grill. A variety of other townie hangouts made it into the top three positions during the week but, by the end of the contest, Sidetrack finished in the No. 1 position with 108 votes. Knight’s Steakhouse trailed by 17 votes finishing in the No. 2 position with 91 votes. Corner Brewery finished the contest in third place with 37 votes. This week, vote for the best bakery in Washtenaw County.

Man does not live by bread alone. He also needs cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cinnamon buns, pies and cakes. Bakeries abound in Washtenaw County, so you never have to go without your daily dose of oven-fresh goodness.
