It wasn't all leprechauns and green beer over the weekend. Beer lovers had another gathering spot at the west end of downtown when Bill's Beer Garden opened for its first weekend of the season.
With fire pits and covered pavilions to warm patrons, Bill's Beer Garden served up a selection of Michigan beers and wines to locals bundled up for the chilly temperatures.
The beer garden will open again for FestiFools weekend (April 5-7, 5 p.m. -11 p.m.) before launching its regular May and June schedule (every Thursday through Sunday, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.).

I went on Sunday and it was packed. People really braved the cold this weekend to go and drink outside and hang out around the fire pits.

We intended to go but didn't make it out this time. Perhaps for FestiFools weekend!
