Writing provides Fred Posner the creative outlet not found in his day job — technical consultant with Team Forrest. Believing that one should “write what you know,” Fred’s first blog centered around his love of food. With Fat Freddy Says, Fred provides reviews of restaurants that centers not just on the meal, but the entire dining experience. Service can make or break a meal, and with the increasing cost of eating out, Fred believes that how you are treated at a restaurant is just as important as what is served.

Fred spent most of his life in the sunny state of Florida, only to find himself reintroduced to the Northern climate thanks to his wife’s job at the University of Michigan. A graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators), Fred tries his best to explore the new surroundings of Michigan — often traveling the backroads on his Harley, looking for that next great meal.
