MLive: Michigan Coney Dog Project: surviving Day 1, rolling into Day 2

The MLive Michigan Coney Dog Project, a massive effort to find the state's best versions of the delicacy, got into high gear on Wednesday with stops in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, among other locales.

Reporter John Gonzalez offers a brief recap of the day in his "Going Gonzo" blog, along with a look ahead to today's plans. A winner will be announced next week.
