A few years ago, my dad went through a brief prostate cancer scare. He didn't tell me much until after he was (thankfully) in the clear but I do remember him telling me that he had a hard time finding any information about prostate cancer on the internet. I found that odd until we realized he had been searching for prostRate. Oops. Really, Google should have corrected him on that...or else it did and he ignored it, thinking he was smarter than Google, which is a mistake I've made before and regretted.

I will also regret missing an awesome event that is coming up soon, on December 10th at 7:30. Please don't make this same mistake and get yourself out to the Original Gravity brewpub in Milan (interesting note: we almost bought a house less than a mile from where the brewpub is now...had to not buy the house when we realized Jeff couldn't fit in the upstairs bathroom. He is 6'6" and the bathroom was not) for a Pints for Prostates fundraiser! You will get to watch the movie "Beer Wars", drink beer and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. You also can enter a raffle to win a lifetime OG membership. At the diabetes fundraiser this summer, I was the lucky recipient of this, which was awesome except that now I can't go around whining how I never win anything!!
