It will be like Top Chef: Food Cart Edition on Saturday at Ann Arbor's Mark's Carts when the cart vendors take part in the second annual Mark's Carts Cook-Off. The public is invited to attend and act as judges as each of the cart vendors prepare food using cookware from contest sponsor Le Creuset.

At the same time, Mark's Carts founder and namesake Mark Hodesh, owner of the adjacent Downtown Home and Garden, will be on hand at the store to serve up his original Fleetwood Chili recipe at a tailgate-themed event. (Hodesh owned the nearby Fleetwood Diner in the 1970s.)

Both the Cook-Off and the tailgate event run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.and are free and open to the public.
