The Week in Beer: End-of-'09 edition
David Bardallis | Contributor
At any rate, there are just a few honorable mentions for this last Week in Beer of 2009. Keep reading for the skinny. Or—perhaps more appropriately for this time of year—the fat.
Thursday, December 31 Beginning at 8pm at Arbor Brewing, 114 E. Washington, it’s Brew Year’s Eve! A different keg of small-batch celebratory beer will be tapped every hour from 8:30pm-11:30pm and dinner specials and live music round out the festivities. No cover.
In Ypsilanti at the same time, the Corner Brewery, 720 Norris, is hosting its own New Year’s Eve Bash featuring live music from the Third Coast Kings and a special Rat Pad small-batch beer for midnight toasting. No cover.
Notes on the Napkin
- Grizzly Peak, 120 W. Washington, has added the “Brewery Box” to their Web site. Head brewer Duncan Williams will be updating it regularly to reflect what’s on tap (or soon to be on tap) down at the Peak. Check it out here.
