My favorite coney is at the Alpha Coney Isand over in Oak Valley by Target, but that first video makes me want to head over to Bill's this weekend for some home-made root beer! Reminds me of the old Dog 'n Suds.

This guy has an amazing coney blog, with years of reviews and info. He has even created maps that detail how the dogs are topped in different regions of the country. His work could be cited in a scholarly paper on coney dogs. He advocates coleslaw on a coney, as is the style in his region. I've made them that way, and it is an excellent variation.

How can this even be a contest w/o going to American or Lafayette in Detroit?
