FutureStars, the area's most popular high school talent show, is back for a ninth year of music, dance, and fun at Pioneer High School.

Talented teens from all of Ann Arbor will be performing in four preliminary shows, with different themes, in front of a panel of judges that include teachers, alumni, and local celebrities. This years themes include “Chart Toppers,” “Lights Out,” “GLEE-ful,” and “Grammy 10/11.” Together the judges and the audience will judge these four shows and choose the best three numbers from each to continue on to the finals. There, one performer will be named FutureStar 2011.

Last year, more than 750 people attended each preliminary show, with the finals night audience topping 1,500. Go to showtix4u.com to reserve general admission tickets.
