The Greencards — an acoustic trio consisting of two Australians and a Brit — will play at The Ark on Wednesday, August 5 at 8 p.m.

Formed in Austin, Texas in 2004, the trio pushes the boundaries of bluegrass and has previously toured with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Fiddler Eamon McLoughlin, vocalist Carol Young and mandolinist Kym Warner have, as The Greencards, drawn comparisons to Nickel Creek and Dixie Chicks.
