The Penny Stamps Speaker Series continues at the Michigan Theater. 5:10 p.m. Jim Hubbard will present "United in Anger: A History of ACT UP." A feature-length documentary that combines archival footage with insightful interviews to explore ACT UP (the AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power) from a grassroots perspective. The Zell Visiting Writers Series will present Amitav Ghosh, the Zell Distinguished International Writer in Residence, at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. 5:10 p.m. Ghosh is the author of "The Circle of Reason," "The Shadow Lines," "In An Antique Land," and most recently, "River of Smoke," which is the second volume of a projected series of novels,The Ibis Trilogy.
