Halloween event spotlight: concerts in costume

One popular Halloween tradition in Ann Arbor is the annual Halloween concerts produced by the University of Michigan Orchestras at Hill Auditorium—with both orchestra members and audience members encouraged to dress up in costume. But the idea has spread out a bit as well.
The U-M Hill Auditorium concerts are set for 4 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday; tickets ($12/$8) are available at the Michigan League Ticket Office or by phone at 734-764-2538. Full details available here.
Eastern Michigan University will host a concert of its own, at 7:30 tonight at Pease Auditorium, and details of that event are here. In addition, the Dexter Community Band will get in on the fun at 3 p.m. Sunday; those details are here.
