Today kicks off “Ann Arbor Restaurant Week.” Experience extraordinary three-course dinner menus and fixed price fare lunch menus from Ann Arbor’s best restaurants. HISTORY

Today wraps up Dexter Area Historical Society and Museum’s “Civil War Days” at Gordon Hall in Dexter. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Today will feature camp tours, a pig roast ($10/per ticket), a community pie auction and much more. $10 (youth ages 5-17, $5) suggested donation. Grillin'-Food-Gatherers

THEATER

“Shakespeare in the Arb” has returned with “The Winter’s Tale.” Box office opens at 5:30 p.m. Shows start at 6:30 p.m. Today, June 16-19 and June 23-26. In its 11th season, “SitA” continues to showcase the natural beauty of the Arb and the timelessness of Shakespeare. $15/Matthaei-Nichols members, $10/students, $18/adults age 19 and over, $16/seniors 62 and over, $10/children and youth 6-18, free/5 and under free. FOOD

They’ll be “Grillin’ for Food Gatherers” at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds. 3 to 6 p.m. Feast on grilled sausages, chicken, vegetables, salads and desserts. Beer and wine will be available. Live music includes George Bedard & the Kingpins, Laith Al-Saadi and the RFD Boys. There will be kids activities and a silent auction of food-related items. BOOKS

Local author Dave Moore will discuss and sign his book, “The Father's Love” at Nicola’s Books. 3 p.m. In this true story, Moore describes the anguish in going through a father's worst nightmare -- a missing child. Moore is a chaplain from Ypsilanti. Free. Nicola’s is in the Westgate Shopping Center at 2513 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor. 734-662-0600.
