Indie folk band Family of the Year to play the Blind Pig

With all the excitement surrounding L.A.-based band Family of the Year, they may just end up being Band of the Year. The band has toured with Mumford & Sons and their track "Hero" cracked Billboard's Top 5 on the Triple A Top 30 Radio Chart.

They've also made appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brian, Carson Daly—and now they will be appearing at the Blind Pig on Wednesday.

For those who enjoy the indie folk of the Lumineers and Dawes, Family of the Year will be a must see.

"Rock 'n' roll with Southern California soul" band The Mowgli's will be opening.

Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Doors open at 9 p.m. $12 in advance. $14 day of. Ages 18+. The Blind Pig is located at 208 S. First St., Ann Arbor. 734-996-8555.
