According to Plymouth's Patch.com, Dexter's Virginia Patton, who played George Bailey's sister-in-law Ruth Bailey in the 1946 holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life," appeared as part of a special screening of the film at the Penn Theatre in Plymouth on Sunday.

Patton reportedly starred in the film at age 20, but left acting to move to Ann Arbor shortly thereafter, to marry and start a family with automotive executive Cruse W. Moss.

Both appeared at Sunday's screening, and the actress signed autographs and talked with fans.

Someone is still alive from the movie? Wow, priceless. Wish I knew she was going to view on Sunday. Might have made for a nice outing.

Jeeze, I'd like to have known about this ahead of time. She was as bubbly as champagne in that movie.

She is lovely! What a lot of fun to have her and her husband at the screening of this special film. Does anyone else think she looks like Marilyn Monroe in this picture?

One of my all time favorites with one of my all time favorite actors, Jimmy Stewart. Donna Reed was so lovely in that film too. Frank Capra reminds us all to look for Zuzu's petals in our own lives everyday!
