The Purple Rose Theatre Company, at 137 Park St. in Chelsea, will present this year's edition of Jeff Daniels’ one-man concert, "Onstage & Unplugged," in an 8-show run beginning Saturday, December 26 and ending Sunday, January 3.

In the show, Daniels (PRTC's executive director and founder) plays blues guitar and offers an arsenal of mostly original songs that are alternately humorous and poignant. This year’s lineup will feature both new selections and crowd favorites from Daniels’ critically acclaimed CDs. (Sales from Daniels’ albums benefit PRTC and are available for sale at the PRTC Box Office or at www.jeffdaniels.com.)

To purchase tickets, which cost $70-$85, call 734-433-7673 or visit www.purplerosetheatre.org. Performances are scheduled at 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday, December 26; Sunday, December 27 at 2 p.m.; Thursday, December 31 at 3 and 8 p.m.; Saturday, January 2 at 3 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, January 3 at 7 p.m.
