In what's becoming a holiday tradition, a new CD on sale today collects live performances from some of the musical performers who've passed through Ann Arbor in recent months — and proceeds from sale of the disc go to support the historic Michigan Theater.

Radio station WQKL, known as Ann Arbor's 107one, has produced "Live From Studio A2, Volume Three," a new collection of music from names like Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, and Natalie Merchant. All the performances were recorded during stops in Ann Arbor.

As the title suggests, this is WQKL's third such collection; Volume 2 was released last year at this time. Like the previous editions, net proceeds from the sale of the album go to the Michigan Theater Foundation.

The CD is available for the holidays at the Michigan Theater Guest Services desk and at Borders stores in Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton and Novi. The cost is $12.99.

A full list of tracks on the CD:

1. Jay Farrar & Benjamin Gibbard - "California Zephyr" 2. Ani DiFranco - "Present/Infant" 3. Amos Lee - "Truth" 4. The Avett Brothers - "January Wedding" 5. Natalie Merchant - "If No One Ever Marries Me" 6. Eric Hutchinson - "Rock and Roll" 7. Steppin’ In It - "Rusty Wing" 8. Ingrid Michaelson - "Maybe" 9. Brandi Carlile - "That Year" 10. Trevor Hall - "Unity" 11. Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers - "Fourth of July" 12. John Gorka - "Ignorance and Privilege" 13. David Wilcox - "Rusty Old American Dream" 14. Mat Kearney - "All I Have" 15. The project is made possible by the support of Bank of Ann Arbor and Douglas J Exchange.
