"Scream 4" — the latest entry in the popular tongue-in cheek horror franchise, shot last summer in Ann Arbor and environs —Â had its red-carpet premiere last night in Hollywood.
Series stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette were all on hand, though some thought costar Hayden Panettiere looked especially good. EW.com has some video from the red carpet.
"Scream 4" opens Friday. At least one local theater, Rave Motion Pictures on Carpenter Road, is planning a midnight screening Thursday night (that is, 12:01 a.m. Friday).

Too bad Gov. Snyder's cutting film tax incentives. I could see a recurring role for John Norman Collins in this franchise. Scream 5, Scream 6, and so on. He could pay for his incarceration.
