Los Lonely Boys member suffers minor injury at Power Center, is doing well
Jojo Garza, bassist for the band Los Lonely Boys, suffered a minor injury toward the end of the band's concert at the Power Center but is believed to be doing fine.
Robb Woulfe—director of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival, which sponsored the concert—said Garza accidentally hit himself in the eye with a microphone during one of the band's last numbers.
Summer Festival staff immediately took him to get medical attention, and the last report from the tour manager was that all seemed to be OK, Woulfe said.

I heard that he's doing ok. Poor guy. They always put on such a GREAT show. Sadly, I don't think they played for the right audience last night. They kept trying to get the crowd going but when you're told to sit down like little children, it really ruins the experience. We've been able to see them several time over the years and they really play off of the audience, I hope they don't hold the lack of enthusiasm against us. We really love them and hope that they make it up here again soon.

It was a great show. Jo Jo is one of the best bass players I have ever seen! The warm up act Alejandro Escovedo was great as well!

Glad to hear Jojo is ok. Los Lonely boys and Alejandro were great. The audience was a drag. Get up offa that thing / and dance 'til you feel better, people! The audiences at the Summer Festival need to lighten up!
