The Huron High grad who inspired a huge Sonic Lunch dance party at the Michigan Theater last year, Mayer Hawthorne, has just released a new single, "Her Favorite Song," which will be featured on his forthcoming album, "Where Does This Door Go," on sale July 16.

You can sample "Her Favorite Song" below.

Plus, here's a playful video trailer for "Where Does This Door Go," which pulls together "door scenes" from several movies, and uses the album's title track as backdrop. The album will feature co-production by Pharrell Williams, Greg Wells, Jack Splash, John Hill and Oak (of Oak & Pop)
