Meet author Maria Dismondy at a special story time at Nicola's Books

Children's author Maria Dismondy will be a special guest at Nicola's Books during our regular story time on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m.

Dismondy's books center around the the topic of children and bullying. In her first book, 'Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun' she teaches children how to be true to themselves even when others can be mean. In her new book 'The Juice Box Bully: Empowering Kids to Stand Up For Others' she teaches children to come together to fend off a bully instead of just being bystanders. By doing this they hope the bully changes his bad habits.
