We recently reported that Michael Moore will be at a 20th anniversary screening of his first film, "Roger and Me," on Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in U-M's Angell Hall, Auditorium A, 435 S. State St. Moore will answer questions and give a talk following the screening.

While this free event remains officially open to the public, U-M department of screen arts and cultures program coordinator Mary Lou Chlipala has since announced that SAC students will be admitted first to the 330-seat venue, and then, other attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, so seating opportunities for the general public may be quite limited. Doors are scheduled to open about 15 minutes before the event's start time.

fishnuts, you should see how far your charm and wit carry you. He earned his millions and has the courage of his convictions. You can have that same room and see how many come to see your charming wit. And quit knocking fat people. I remember when your hero, our humungous Gov Engler took up all the space in the state that he was fouling up for Jenny to attempt to fix. Marvin, you should get out more! And hypocrites are people who are still waiting for that "trickle down".

Love the Green Hat but am very sad what it sicks upon, I mean sits upon. The room needs to be SO big to fit this guy in it, he should have done that McDonald's documentary with that dude about 8 years ago becuase it appears that McDonald's is all this guy eats. Michael Moore is a joke, but would I expect less from the Univ of Michigan to extol this guy's lack of intellectual honesty? He is a multi millionaire that lives just like Al Gore does. Hypocrites one and all.

That room is not nearly large enough for the crowd that will gather to see this proud Icon of our nation. The contrarians are those who don't appreciate the wit, charm and insight that Michael brings to our stalled and befuddling political scene! Conservatives only wish they had a Michael Moore in their semi-literate crowd of Reagan/Bush disciples. How's that trickle down workin' for ya? You Betcha!!

330 seats? That seems like a pretty big room for this speaker. I can see why it's free, I mean...who would pay? Can someone fill me in on who this Michael Moore is?
