Although Milan area resident Stephanie Jass did not win during her first appearance on the "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions, she still has a chance at a wild-card spot going into the semifinals.

That should be determined on tonight's show, Leanne Smith reports for the Jackson Citizen Patriot.

Last fall, Jass became the most successful female contestant ever to appear on the syndicated TV game show.

Locally, "Jeopardy!" airs at 7:30 p.m. on WDIV-TV, channel 4 in Detroit.

I watched it last night and let me tell you the tournament of champions really lives up to it's name. The questions are much much harder than on a normal show, so it was interesting to see how smart the contestants really are. On a normal show I'll usually get over half of the questions right, but last night I only answered about 10-20% correctly. I'll be rooting for Stephanie to make the next round!
