Nanci Griffith cancels upcoming Ark concert

The Ark has announced that Nanci Griffith's Sept. 29 concert at the venue has been canceled.

Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase.

In a message to fans, Griffith wrote:

"To my fans -

I love those 90 min to 2 hours that I spend with you more than anything in my life. It is the request of my doctor that I not travel right now. My hands have not healed properly. It may be a while, but I'll be back. As much as you have loved and cared for me, I love you more. And I will see you again.
