Start your Memorial Day weekend off with a bang with a free outdoor concert at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti.

At 2 p.m. Saturday, the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra will perform "An Afternoon at the Drive-In" that features music from family favorites such as "Harry Potter," "Forrest Gump," "Jurassic Park," "Star Trek," "Carousel," "My Fair Lady," and many more. There is something special about spending the day on a blanket watching children dance and enjoy classical music. We'll be there relaxing and dancing the afternoon away.

In the event of rain, the rain date for the concert is at 2 p.m. Sunday.
