The African Proverb "It takes a village to raise a child" is a popular saying. Where is the village when I'm trying to get the kids to clean their room, do their homework or go to bed? As parents there are times when we can all use a little help from an outside resource.

Sharing information and experiences with others may help someone in an unexpected way. I like to use humor as a way to share stories and information on parenting. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community of parents collaborating together to keep our sanity.
