A roundup of Memorial Day parades and celebrations in Washtenaw County
Did you know that there are many historic and beautiful war memorials throughout Washtenaw County?
I didn't until I was putting together my annual list of Memorial Day events, parades and activities.

Don't forget, too, to honor local veterans by attending one of the many Memorial Day parades on Monday, May 30.

- Chelsea: Parade at 10 a.m.
- Dexter: 10 a.m. on Main Street throughout downtown.
- Milan: The parade commences immediately after a 9 a.m. memorial ceremony at the Legion Post, 44 Wabash St., Milan.
- Saline: The Memorial Day parade begins at 10 a.m. at the fire station on Harris Street at Michigan Avenue.
- Ypsilanti: Parade begins at 9 a.m. (North Huron Street/Michigan Avenue).

Thanks Gloriagirl. When my husband and I were both out of work I started blogging and have continue to do so. It's important that we support our children through taking them to many of the wonderful community-wide free events, and it helps that I enjoy spreading the word too!
