Besides the mid-winter break camps throughout Ann Arbor next week, there are also several great activities and events happening; from special hours of bouncing to free entry into local museums, there is something for almost everyone!

Monday, Feb. 21, is another Target Family Fun Day at the Henry Ford Museum, with free admission to the museum courtesy of Target. The free day, in celebration of President's Day, will include live musical performances, make and take projects for the kids, a presidential themed scavenger hunt and special activities recognizing Black History Month.

If heading to the Henry Ford is a bit much, our local libraries offer families the ability to check out a "museum pass." The Museum Adventure Pass program allows families access free entry to many area museums throughout Southeast Michigan and even several within the greater Ann Arbor area. Check out the full list of museums available, and then head to the library to check out a pass.

If the cold is keeping your kids inside, consider getting them some great exercise at the Xtreme Bounce Zone (82 Aprill Drive, Suite C, Ann Arbor). They will be open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Feb. 21-24. Admission is only $7 per child or $5 per child for children under 5. They are also open every Friday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and from 7-10 p.m. for Kids Night Out for $10 per person for kids 8 and older. That's a lot of bouncing for the week!

Connect with local parents!

Here are three ways to keep up with the latest local Parenting news, and share your own:

Kids and teens can let the good times roll with open roller skating sessions at Canton's Skatin Station II (8611 Ronda Drive, Canton 48187). During the week of break, Feb. 21-25, open skating is available 1-4 p.m. daily for $6 a session plus a $2 skate rental.

Don't forget that the temps are slated to be a bit milder, so consider hitting one of the Ann Arbor ice skating rinks!
