Learn how online predators operate and how to keep your youth safe while online at a panel discussion Wednesday at AnnArbor.com.

Online predators know what they're doing and use specific tactics to find children. While most online predators seek out kids between the ages of 11-14, youth younger and older are not invulnerable to their traps.

Trained Internet safety facilitators Beth Chapman and Robin Batten from the Washtenaw Area Council for Children will present information on the latest research and national events regarding online predators and tactics of sexual exploitation of youth.

Topics covered will include identifying the risks on social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace; how predators cultivate relationships with youth and how to talk to your youth about staying safe online. Join us for a presentation and discussion!
