After a sold-out appearance at Eastern Michigan University last year, Frank Warren returns to Washtenaw County on Friday, Dec. 4 to share more stories from his PostSecret project, this time coming to the Michigan Theater.

PostSecret, a collaborative art project founded by Warren, invites individuals from around the world to anonymously submit via mail their most private revelations. Since the launch of the website in 2005, users have shared stories ranging from hilarious to poignant. Four books, a traveling art exhibit and nationwide tours soon followed.

What can you expect from a PostSecret event? Frank Warren describes it:

I share the inspirational and funny stories behind some of the quarter million secrets I have received on postcards. I project images of the secrets that were banned from the four PostSecret books. I talk about my secret — an experience I never spoke of for more than three decades and eventually drove me to start collecting secrets from strangers. And I always save time to answer questions and listen to the soulful, humorous and sometime sexual secrets from the audience.

The next PostSecret book, "Confessions on Life, Death, and God," is out on Oct. 6.

Ticket information for the Michigan Theater event is coming soon.

I am a huge fan of PostSecret. It's touching, profound, funny, sad, and deeply satisfying as a voyeuristic endeavor. If you haven't seen Frank's show before, I highly recommend it.
