On Monday, February 15, the Purple Rose Theatre Company will offer a Valentine's Day treat of a fundraising program titled "In Love."
The evening, hosted in a private home, will begin at 7 p.m. and feature performances of scenes, songs and poems by The Purple Rose Free Range Thespians (Rhiannon Raglund, Michael Brian Ogden, Stacie Hadgikosti, Heidi Bennett, Will Young, Matthew David, and Nathan Mitchell). The show explores romantic mayhem; fetishes; fears and fancies; classic stories of courtship; and hugs, kisses, and love gone wrong.
"There are 10 little pieces, and three of them are original," said Rose artistic director Guy Sanville.
Wine, dinner, dessert, cocktails, and music are all included in the package. Space is limited, and tickets are $200 per person ($120 of this amount is tax deductible).
